Low Carb Chili | Chicken And Bacon!

This chili recipe is one of the easiest and most delicious ways to get your daily dose of protein into your belly, without any extra carbs!

I remember the first time I ever had low-carb chili. It was extremely smoky, and I didn’t really like it that much. (In fact, I remember I didn’t like it at all. However, it did nothing for me except make me wonder what exactly I was missing out on.) Years later, I finally got curious about low-carb chili and started experimenting. I tried a few recipes, and liked one called “Beefy Tomato Basil.” This chili recipe combines the flavors of the original, with a little extra kick.

Chicken and Bacon is a great way to make a meal out of two of the most important and healthy foods in the world. Chicken is rich in protein, essential fatty acids, B-Vitamins, and minerals. Bacon is a lean source of protein, iron, selenium, and zinc. Infused with a variety of chili spices, this recipe is a perfect fit for a low carb diet.

With this Chili with Low Carbs recipe, I’m continuing my chili infatuation. We started with Bacon Chili, but now we’ve switched to soft bits of chicken breast instead of ground beef. Watch as I demonstrate how to make it in the video below!

Chili Recipe for Beginners

All I do is partially fry the bacon and chicken before tossing in the rest of the ingredients, as you can see in the video above. After you’ve merged everything, all you have to do now is wait for it to reduce. All of the tastes get more concentrated during the reduction process, and all of the vegetables simmer down into the meats and broth. It’s the simplest dinner to prepare for a large family gathering or even for just one person, with leftovers for the next day! Everyone will be satisfied, and no one will know it’s low carb, thanks to the addition of soy beans.

Chili with Low Carbs

We added a can of soy beans to this chili recipe for more substance and to give it that authentic chili flavor! If you don’t want to use soy, feel free to leave them out — the dish will still be delicious without them! However, we only use soy beans in this recipe because we prefer to use them as little as possible. Low Carb Chili

A hearty keto chili cooked with tender chicken and black soy beans – don’t worry, it’s carb-free!

  • Cook bacon in a big skillet/saucepan/dutch oven over medium heat for half an hour.

  • Cut your chicken into bite-sized chunks as your bacon cooks and add it to the skillet once the bacon is partially cooked.

  • Garlic, tomato, pablano pepper, and onion should be roughly minced while the chicken and bacon are cooking. Combine the minced ingredients with the partially cooked chicken.

  • Drain the beans and combine with the chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, chicken stock, and Worcestershire sauce in a skillet. Combine.

  • Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 50 minutes. Everything will be entirely boiled down and ready to eat at this stage. Remove the lid and cook for a further 15-20 minutes to achieve a thicker consistency (as demonstrated in our recipe video).

  • Serve immediately with a sour cream and cheese dollop. Enjoy!
