New book: The Diabetes Code

My newest book, The Diabetes Code, will be published on September 3rd. It is a sequel to The Obesity Code and includes advice on how to cure and avoid type 2 diabetes. The month of April has been released. All of the material in this book, like with all of my publications, has previously been covered in my regular blog entries, which can be found on my website or at www.DietDoctor.com. The editor and I spent a significant amount of time revising and polishing the content to ensure that it was simple to comprehend and follow. The procedure for writing

To give you a sense of how I write my online blog, I typically write it nearly verbatim. Except for the occasional removal and addition of harsh phrases, not much has been changed. I also remove some of the hotter ingredients. The postings, on the other hand, are difficult to browse and may be repetitious at times. It took me approximately a year to go from raw material in the form of blog posts to a manuscript that I could submit to a professional publisher for the book on the diabetic code, for example. She reviewed it, made a few minor changes to explain the issue, and then returned it to me for further editing.

For the book Diabetes Code, I did it seven times. In the obesity code, I did the same thing. After that, it was submitted to the editor for two additional edits to ensure that all of the facts were correct. Editing took another eight months in all. So it took approximately a year and a half to go from the initial blog entries to the final book. It is then packed and published with stunning photographs.

Nina Teicholz, author of The Big Fat Surprise, was invited to write the preface, and she did a fantastic job. Dr. David Unwin, a diabetic clinical specialist in the United Kingdom, discusses his success in treating diabetes. I’m pleased with the final product.

Is there anything in the diabetic code that you should be aware of?

Some individuals wonder, “What additional information does the Diabetes Code include that the Obesity Code or the full fasting guide don’t have?” Almost all of them, to be precise. People are perplexed because they read the same thing on my blog and then claim that the book has no fresh information. That is precisely the purpose. I’m not withholding any material that might benefit you, the reader, simply to make a few more sales. All of the material is previously publicly accessible, but it is now written in a more professional manner.

I only discussed obesity and not type 2 diabetes in my book The Obesity Code. This was done on purpose since there is much too much material to discuss in a single book. You would have had enough knowledge to effectively cure type 2 diabetes if you had studied the Obesity Code and followed the blog. And a lot of people have, which is fantastic. However, a close examination of the Obesity Code would reveal that type 2 diabetes is hardly addressed.

Contents of the book

The Diabetes Code is unique in that it concentrates on type 2 diabetes and its connection to fat. I’m interested in visceral obesity and insulin resistance, as well as how to think about it, what it is, and how to treat it. I go through the negative consequences of added sugars in more depth, as well as the fundamentals of type 2 diabetes medication therapies and why they don’t work. I’m referring to both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The obesity code makes no mention of any of these issues.

The diabetes code, in my opinion, is a continuation of the obesity code, but for the 50 percent of people in the United States who have pre-diabetes or genuine type 2 diabetes. It is more comprehensive, and while it is not required, I suggest that people read the Obesity Code first.

To get you started, I’ve included some patient testimonies and example meals, but if you want more in-depth information about fasting, I recommend the Complete Guide to Fasting.

I also included an epilogue in which I discuss my views on the whole discovery process, which I didn’t include in The Obesity Code since I believe it was just the first phase. This article will conclude with the first few lines of this epilogue.

Despite the title and in-depth examination of type 2 diabetes, you may be shocked to find that this book is not about diabetes at all. What? Your dissent is audible to me. This book is almost entirely about diabetes! No, this is a novel about hope, my buddy.

My goal is that type 2 diabetes will be eradicated within a generation. I really hope that we will be able to eliminate all illnesses associated with metabolic syndrome. I’m hoping we can recoup all expenses, both monetary and in terms of human misery. I’m hoping that we can accomplish these objectives without the use of medicines or surgery, relying only on information as a weapon.
